It's a Girls' Night Out!

Hey everyone! 

After a long pause, the moonsisters are back with a luna adventure that happened last September. The moonsisters together with Karen of the #KaRhiAdventures had a super fun girl's night out and staycation somewhere in the heart of the city.

To start this awesome day, Yang and I went first to the hotel to fix our things and cool down before the craziness that is going to happen, and of course, to wait for our very workaholic friend Karen who happened to be still on a seminar at that time. And what better way to do while waiting and cooling down? Of course, some mandatory mirror selfies! Hahahaha! :P


But what really amazed me as soon as we got in the room, was Yang's priceless expression - those sparkles in her eyes like finally, she just got free from something. I'll never forget that and somehow it melts my heart to see her happy like that. Simple things, indeed. ;)

After a few selfies, we went to mass and went around the mall to buy some sweets and champagne to complete the set of our girls' night out party! Hahaha! But, of course, I still went home for a few hours since it coincide with my aunt's birthday where I just ate a slice of pizza and dash off back to the hotel to begin our girls' night out. And since we were all hungry, we went out to have dinner. But, I have this requirement for the girls, and that is.. we should all dress up for the night. And because they love me so much (Ahem! Hahahaha!) they obeyed this wish of mine. Hahahaha!

It turns out, Yang's dress is in black again while my dress happened to be in all white too and our very cheery friend Karen, had some green and gold/yellow to add some spice and color to our very monochrome ensembles. Hahaha!

Candlelit dinner for three

I've been wanting to have some candlelit dinner, and luckily we found one that night.

Okay, so there's a funny moment that happened in here. Karen and Yang went to find an ATM machine while I was left to wait for our food to arrive. I was thinking then that they will be surprising me with something but they came back empty-handed so I erased all my hopes and thoughts for a surprise on that day so as not to disappoint myself and to have good vibes for the night. Hahaha! So after dinner, I told them we should pass by at a dessert store nearby since I've been wanting to have sweets for that night. And not for a second did I suspect about their actions. So while waiting at the dessert store, Yang told me that Karen wanted to go ahead in the hotel because she wanted to go to the bathroom. As soon as I stepped out the store, luckily for Karen and Yang (because they were up to something already), John Mayer's 'Your Body is a Wonderland' played and I told Yang that we should stop for awhile because I want to listen to the whole song. Then, Yang and I walked to our hotel and passed by a 24-hour convenient store to buy some ice for our champagne. When we arrived at the hotel, I was kinda' worried that Karen won't be able to open the door because she is in the bathroom and we only have one key. And while we were in the elevator, Yang's phone rang and all I can hear her saying was "Oo" and thought that it was her mother calling her. So, when I stepped into the room to place my bag, I saw the Cafe Mary Grace paper bag and thought that it might have been the paper bag Karen used to place her things. I didn't even noticed or even suspected the actions of the both of them until Karen went out of the bathroom with a cake on her hand and started singing 'Happy Birthday!' and it took me awhile before I noticed the letterings they posted on the hotel window. Hahahaha!

Of course, I'd like to end this post with some senti and sweet note for these two lovely ladies who made my life more meaningful and colorful and definitely made me feel more blessed than ever. They are both precious gifts of God to me. And everyday, I just thank God for simply having them in my life. These ladies are just a few of those people whom I can't imagine life without them in it and thank God for letting me be so clingy to you girls. Hahaha! Thank you so much for everything especially not just for being a part of my life but also for letting me grow along with you. Thank you for accepting me as me especially my crazy-weirdness and for being always there for me - through the good times or bad times or the gray times. I actually kinda' lost for words in here because you both have been everything to me. And that simply say, I love you so much girls! To infinity and beyond!
